Ceramic feels like a keepsake. It has a lovely weight, and it’s the one I’d pick for a gift she’ll hang for years. It’s breakable, and the colors are slightly softer because the surface is porous.

Aluminum has the crispest, brightest print, and it’s lightweight and shatterproof. It’s great for homes with kids, pets, or very enthusiastic tree decorators.
