Shipping

The Wooden Frame is a handmade, made to order shop, meaning, all items are made by one set of hands, after you place your order.  Very rarely is anything actally "in stock" because of the level of customizations my shop processes.

Processing time means the amount of time it is going to take me to get to your order based on the number of orders ahead of you as well as production time on your order before it ships.

At the very top of the shop will list current processing time that is most accurate for my work level at the time.

  1. Signs:  My average processing time for signs is about 2 weeks throughout the year.  Sometimes more, sometimes less.
  2. Ornaments, Tags and Small Items:  These I am able to work on a little faster, average time is 3-5 days.

You are always welcome to message me to see if I am able to push your order a little faster, a rush fee may apply.  I am not always able to accomodate.  Rush shipping usually isn't a help in this processes as it typically only shaves a day or maybe two off of transit.

As soon as I purchase your label, I am packaging your order and will be taking it personally to The UPS Store that afternoon.

I take all of my packages to UPS, even USPS, as they pickup from UPS each evening.

  1. If it won't fit in a mailbox, it is probably being shipped UPS Ground.  There are exceptions.  UPS Ground takes an average of 2-3 business days in transit, a few are 1 day and some are 4 day.
  2. If it fits in a mailbox, it will ship USPS, usually First Class.  Average transit time is 2-4 days, some more, some less.
  3. Shipping upgrades available at checkout, typically I don't find time worth the price unless you are really needing 1 day cut off your transit time.  Feel free to message me and I will truthfully tell you if it is worth it.

If you are purchasing a small item that fits in a mailbox, no big deal...move on.

If your item will not fit in a mailbox, there will be an additional $10-$15 fee.  Essentially that means I have to use USPS and they do not like large/long packages.

If you have a PO Box but get shipments from UPS at a physical address, use that instead...again, USPS does not like large/long packages.

As most of us understand, there is really no such thing as true free shipping.  I pay for every single shipping label and it definitley isn't free.  The following is just being transparent.

The only reason I even entertain any type of free shipping promotion is because I run an Etsy shop where they push sellers into free shipping and I have to have both shops the same.

I offer free shipping over $50, this mainly will affect small items.  I can ship multiple smaller items in the same box and the shipping label does not change.  This is not true for my signs.

The majority of my larger items already have a minimal (not enough) shipping fee added to the overall cost and are marked as an automatic free shipping.  I cannot add multiple of these items to one box and it still be the same price.  It will double with the weight and size of the box.  I also typically cannot ship more than two in a box.  So, if you order 3 signs, you are getting at least two boxes, two labels, not free.

Any returned, non-personalized, items will have original and return shipping fees subtracted from the return price.

Returns

I accept returns on non-personalized items 30 days after reciept.  Items must be returned in resellable condition.  Buyer is responsible for both return and original shipping label costs...typically this is going to be an AVERAGE of $25 deducted from your return price.  I do not accept returns if your item has been personalized with names, I cannot resell these.

Damages

If your items has been damaged in transit, please retain the packaging and be willing to send me pictures of both the packaging and the damage on the item.

If your item does not appear to have been damaged in transit, please still retain the packaing, and send me a photo.

All in all...I will do my absolute best to accomodate and come up with the best solution.  As I am a small business, there will be some steps I need to follow in order to take care of us both.
