Our Family Sign is a unique and personalized sign that makes a great gift for a combined or blended family. The sign features both 3D and engraved lettering on a wood background framed with a rich brown frame. The sign can be customized with the first names, last names, and established date of the family.

You may choose to do "The Johnson Family", etc. instead of Our Family. 17 total characters, including spaces.

Background is painted white
Family Name is black 3D raised lettering
First names and established dates are ENGRAVED and will turn out a beautiful medium to dark brown.
Frame is a rich dark brown that blends well with both warm and cool decor colors.

- Sizes
7" x 21" - Includes last name and one additional line, either established date or names, not both.
9" x 21" - Includes last name and two lines of text
12" x 26" - Includes last name and 2-3 lines of text
14" x 26" - Includes last name and 2-3 lines of text

If your name is very long, like 8+ letters, I suggest going with the two larger sizes OR removing "family" and pluralizing the last name. No apostrophe is needed. If you are unsure on how to pluralize the last name, it is very commonly done wrong, just let me know. Please do not be offended if I correct you, I am just trying to help. 🙂 Long last names on the shorter signs just means small and fragile. You can always message me and I can let you know what I think.

Processing time: At any point in the year, I am typically about a 2 week processing time. This means I usually have about two weeks worth of orders to process before I get to your order. This time increases during busy times, such as Christmas and may decrease over the summer. The estimated arrival dates shown by Etsy are typically pretty accurate. Once shipped, the typical transit time is 2-5 business days, averaging 3.

Our items are not made of manufactured material, but natural wood products. Each piece of wood takes to the staining and painting process differently and no two signs will be exactly the same. There may also be knots and other imperfections which add a uniqueness and charm to each piece.

As of 4/4/2022 we will be charging a $15 surcharge for any order shipping to AK, HI or non-continental APO addresses. USPS has added surcharges to any package over 22", which includes the majority of our signs and/or boxes. This makes it to where we can no longer absorb the extra shipping charges for these areas.
